I constructed T H R E E during a period of healing and growth, which influenced the story it carries within its weaves. There’s music in the way its silhouette slips onto the body, keeping it clean, subtle and riveting in an understated way.

gloom

The concept revolves around the idea of a moody Sunday afternoon - a subtlety; sombre, minimal, laze - depicted through lines and classic shapes.

More than anything else,

T H R E E was a construction project I took up inspired by well-finished tailoring and minimalism. While I admire the heritage that lies in dressmaking, I do believe menswear is best depicted through its details and its accentuation. T H R E E, as its name suggests, focuses on three such details - the disappearing lapel, a layered cuff and a faggoted patch. Depicting the moodiness and visual imagery of gloomy afternoons, it revels in an understated sense of taste, making the man who wears it, no different from those qualities.

This Project was chosen & showcased by Vogue India.
